I got back from Boulder CO a few days ago, where I flew for a week to do interviews for my dissertation research. My study is on how people recover from bipolar disorder using mindfulness meditation and Buddhist psychology and philosophy. A colleague was kind enough to lend his office for the interviews, and a friend hosted me during my visit. I feel lucky to have their support, and the generosity of the participants in sharing about their experience of recovery.
Next steps: interview a few more participants, transcribe the interviews, and analyze the data before writing the research report for publication. Do you know anyone who has recovered from bipolar disorder using mindfulness meditation and Buddhist ideas? I’m still accepting participants. Learn more about the study at www.brilliancyresearch.com.
